Provisional Visa (Option 1)
Under Australian Immigration law, applicants who enter Australia under this first stream will be required to undergo a 2-stage progression for permanent residence. This process involves holding a Business Skills Provisional visa for a period of 4 years while continuing to satisfy the requirements before an application for Business Skills Residence Visa (permanent) can be made.
188A – Business Innovation Streams
A temporary business skills provisional visa that allows successful business people to own a new or existing business in Australia. Valid for four (4) years; visa holders may be eligible for permanent residence after meeting obligations for at least two (2) years.
188B & 188C – Business Investor Streams
A temporary business skills provisional visa that allows successful business people to invest in a new or existing business in Australia. Valid for four (4) years; successful applicants may be eligible to apply for permanent residency.
Direct Permanent Residence (Option 2)
This stream is only available to applicants sponsored by an Australian State or Territory government, referred to as the Business Talent Visa.
